  • Regarding the addition of MKOverlays on the map

    Hi,

I am interested in drawing polygons on the map provided by Worldwind. I've been working on an app that allows me to draw AWC Weather Hazard areas (similar to MKOverlays - polygons in iOS) on a Map. I would like to draw the same sort of polygons (with a set of location coordinates) on a worldwind map inside the TAIGA project.

We want to reuse the code which was used for making flight path to draw a polygon and fill it with color. Can any one provide suggestions as to which classes in particular should we look at.

    Regards,
    NWMSU.

Flight paths use the WWPath class in the WorldWind project to render the paths. I suggest you study that class to see how rendering is performed in general. See the FlightPathsLayer class for an example of using WWPath. You might also look at the AircraftShape class in the TAIGA project.
