The elevation model in WWJ is quite wavy. See attached screenshot. In reality the terrain is pancake-flat but there are a lot of high buildings, which I suppose cause the wavyness. The screenshot shows Kranj, Slovenia; it is the same in Hamburg, Germany, but e.g. New York looks fine (no waves in Manhattan except in Central Park).
