  • WorldWind Cache

So Worldwind caches data to your local hard drive. Is there any way to "rehost" this cache so another WorldWind client could use that rehosted data as its map server?

Thinking this could be somewhat of a bandaid for the impending Worldwind server shutdown.

Yup! Easiest way would be to copy the cache from your local hard drive to the same location on the other machine. So if your cached data currently resides in C:\ProgramData\WorldWindData (which is the default location), copy the WorldWindData folder and paste it in the same location on the other machine.

You can also use an external drive to store the cached data. However if you go this route, make sure to edit the DataFileStore.xml first.

At first we thought that he had cached the images and now pulls them offline. I ran our program on the outer net, but no luck. So maybe it has to do with proxies at my work WalgreensListen
