    Worldwind Suspension

    Just saw this news: https://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/news/...ension-notice/

Can someone explain the reasoning and the short notice? Will there be any opportunity to mirror the data servers?

Any chance Worldwind will be brought back to life in the future?

    From: Apkzm
I think that's a possibility, but there is significant cost associated with running that type of free data service.
Download online android App & games without google play store account. apkzm is a free apk downloader fast and safe to download for android users. Alternative of google playstore - Apkzm.com

This should get quite interesting for NASA, given that multiple US Gov Agencies are using the WorldWind platform, primarily the Web and Java. Check it here with the link below www.portlandadubuild.com/

WorldWind is an open source virtual globe API. WorldWind allows developers to quickly and easily create interactive visualizations of 3D globe, map and geographical information. Organizations around the world use WorldWind to monitor weather patterns KrogerFeedback customer survey

Without WorldWind server wms data apps based on WorldWind are failing all over the world. I am hoping the FAA is not affected or any big projects or the public safety firstbankcard login

This site is the home for the WorldWind Explorer web app, the WorldWindJS library–a community edition of NASA Web WorldWind, and the WorldWind Java-Community Edition SDK–a fork of NASA WorldWind Java, plus other WorldWind programming resources.

None of the demos work anymore (including ones on all the GitHub sites) sad and expected. Without WorldWind server wms data apps based on WorldWind are failing all over the world. I am hoping the FAA is not affected or any big projects or the public safety.

The suspension has been delayed until May 3rd (https://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/). Crossing fingers for WW staying available. Along with this and the community-fork, things are looking very promising again.

The community-fork of WorldWindJava has been created at:

Anyone solve the elevation data issue? With the servers shut down all your maps will go flat. So if someone knows of a wms Bil source that will help everyone greatly else they will need to shut down their apps. :-(
