Large browm "spot" in Russia, in the bluemarble image.

Hello

I've been bugged about this brown spot in Russia. It seems to be some form of geological / climatic anomality affecting an gigantic area. All around this brown spot is a snow coverage, somehow this area seems to be warmer than the surrounding.
