Version 1.3 for today ?

It has been annonced that the new version 1.3 of World Wind will be disponible today the 22st of fébruary 2005 !

Is it true ? If not when is it exactly ?

They say 1.3 will come out today... probably not till the afternoon though. When it come out, you will know.

I think Wednesday, February 23, is more likely (at the moment). But release date estimates are always iffy things...

Anyway.. there should be an Alpha 5 out later today. From the sounds of the developers.. they really want a few more days of fixing stuff before the final release.

hello there, when is the final release date, curentley alpha 6 as been out. i am realy interested for final version, thanx to all support team and developers who work on world wind its realy great job and it changed my life .i am studing mining engineer,its very usefull for me but i have a question i know it is not a good place for posting it but i realy need to know how recent is Landsat7 images?for example if there is an earth quake and plates get move , does landsat7 shows after earth quake or before that?

Landsat data is about ~5 years old. More recent images are available in Rapid Fire Modis and two data layers: Rapid Response MODIS Aqua or Rapid Response MODIS Terra.
(Note that Modis resolution and coverage is far less than Landsat
