  • WW and VB 6.0

    Hi All,

I am a newbie in this subject and would like to learn more about it. I have a csv file (lat, long, altitude) developped from Visual Basic 6.0. I would like to use WW as an OLE or OCX on one of the tab in my VB GUI to show trajectory path from start to end on the globe. I just wonder if WW allow me to port to VB or I have to run WW as a separate progrm to read the csv file and display the path. Any helps, suggestions, recommendations are greatly appreciated.
    Thank you for reading.

World Wind plugins can be written in any .NET language (VB included). I think there is an example or two on the wiki somewhere.

I don't think anyone has had any luck embedding the .NET version of WW in their own application, but you might look at the java WW. It is designed to do exactly what you describe.
