  • Tour de France tracks

    Hi,

for those of you who like to follow 'Le Tour' closely, here is a .plt file of all 21 stages.

    GPS data originates from tour.ard.de.
Use Andy_PL's tool to convert the file & visualize the tracks in WW.

    Greetz, R.

For those of you who (like me) who are too lazy to do it yourself, unzip this into your WW 1.3 folder:
      Edit: Use m_k's add-on below.
Thanks for the info, Cornholio! Boy, that's some rough riding in the pyrenees. :o
Note: The above statement is probably an educated guess, derived from much forum reading, IRC chatting, general curiosity, etc. Use at your own risk.
Before asking, check the FAQ or search, and Ask a good question.

Having problems? Make sure you have Managed DirectX and .NET Framework.
Then check the Video Card Compatibility List

Hi -- sorry to be dense but I unzipped the file into the proper directory and I can't figure out how to access it! (I'm new to WW.)

        Thanks for any help.

To follow up -- I go to Layers and just the default stuff is there. Thanks.

This is because 5of0 has forgot to put .xml into the add-on...

            EDIT (Jul 7):
I've changed the plt and now stage 13. is displayed correctly:

            Download it from here

              Try this one http://twobeds.com/upload/userfiles/m_k/TdF.exe
              (it displays track and icons)
              Got it working -- thanks!

Yes, saw this too. GPS data on the ARD website is shifted, I informed them but no reply as of yet. Maybe someone has better sources or can correct it?
