Nice symbols TomServo,
easy to understand and good differentiaton between the initial epicentre and the formation of the Tsunami shockwave, however the tsunami forms all along the fault line: A common misconception is that a tsunami is generated from the epicenter of the earthquake. In fact, it originates from the entire length of the rupture.
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/20...US_tsunami.html
Looking at the area where the epicentre of the recent earthquake originated it seems like it set three tectonic ruptures in motion at the same time. So maybe the symbol for a tsunami shlould be semicircle-shaped?
Kind regards
Thomas Risan

The other idea I have was a series of waves on a diagonal. But I think the icons would show only where the waves came ashore.

I had said earlier I could use a logo for Worldwindcentral. I sketched up this one and would appreciate if someone would do it up for me. The bigger the better (well not too big.. ) as I can do more with it. I can resize / change format as need.

Someone also suggested making one of the quarters a human brain. Fine by me

Looks great so far. Ideally I'll proably be using an image that is 140 x 140 or so as a corner square for the site. So you can try to shoot for it looking decent at that res. 800x800 is good though too. Could offer WWC wallpaper
