Add elevation color gradient to terrain mapped textures.

I have been playing with WorldWind for a couple of years now, but this is my first post.

I would like to know if anyone has tried to add a color gradient based on elevation to a terrain mapped texture. What I would like to do is add a color gradient to USGS ortho maps that shows elevation. The idea is to color the map similar to the way FAA sectional charts do.

Also if anyone is interested I have converted all the FAA DVD sectional charts to a terrain mapped world wind format.

You might try this. If it doesn't already to that then it probably wouldn't be hard to add.

The FEF would probably be interested in hosting those charts for general use by the community.
