World Wind on OLPC ?

What would it take to get World Wind to run on OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) ?

I think it runs on some blend of Linux... WWJ then ?

That wiki says the graphics controller is integrated with the CPU, so I bet that won't be up to the task. Does WW2D have lighter graphics requirements?

Cache storage/networking might also be an issue. If they won't be online most of the time then it would need a fair amount of pre-cached data to be useful.

With 128M ram and 512M flash storage it would definetly be a challenge... that makes me think of the 'WW on a USB drive idea'.

Run WWJava as a customized applet for OLPC computers. That is my idea.
