Just released: Maplecroft Global Maps Series

Just to let you know, Maplecroft is now offering a new collection of addons!

Maplecroft has launched a series of NASA World Wind files to complement its Global Maps series. These analyse a wide range of environmental, social, economic and political issues that impact on business and society around the world. It is now possible to view Maplecroft risk data on the World Wind interactive globe!

The add-on packages are offered by Maplecroft for free (non commercial use). For the terms of use please see http://maps.maplecroft.com/terms_of_use.html

nice maps
but: imo. it would make sense to set <ShowAtStartup="false"> in the first <ChildLayerSet> tag of your XML's ? (always line #10). Otherwise ALL installed maps/themes get loaded at once

Thanks for the tip mazop, have made these changes to the startup. The disadvantage is that now however no layers load up when pressing the icon in the top menu bar. As we are delivering them as separate files we can't just have 1 layer load up at the start. But this is probably better than how it was before.

The files are temporarily offline as we are restructuring the server in order to better be able to cope with the high demand for these files, which is nice

No worries, we are happy with the attention :-). Thanks for that! The files are back online now.
In the near future we want to add more add-ons for the other map issues we have.

By clicking on the legend a browser window can be opened which explains how the index was composed, which data was used and how the information should be interpreted.

All the maps are useful. I have a question: how can I download the whole pack? Is there a way or I have to take one after another?
