Default Historical satellite images

Hello to everybody!

We are looking for a service of historical (1 month past to now) images from satellite in Europe.

Could anybody know if exists a service like this (to pay, also)?

Thank you.

The OnEarth.jpl.nasa.gov has the 250m MODIS TERRA and AQUA images for the last two years. You can get them via WMS, including in WW, by adding the "time=YYYY-MM-DD" argument to the WMS requests.
Or you can get the MODIS subsets or the near real time images from rapidfire.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov

Oh neat. That could be accessed with a simplified version of the wms browser. brb

edit: System overload.

Lucian: did it just break?

I had it working a few minutes ago and now all I get is black images for every tile.

edit: I have a first attempt at a plugin ready to go when the images get back to working.

No, it didn't break. The server was down from 12/7 to 12/16, no mosaics were built, black is "no-data". I don't have enough cycles to back-fill.
Make sure the plugin matches the OnEarth.xml configuration access pattern, it will match the data format and create less load on the server.

Ah, I see.

Version 0.1 here.

Will there always be two years worth of layers, or will the two years available right now be added to every day?

Withak,
Nice plugin. It didn't work with V1.3.5, but did load in 1.4Beta. What happens if you check more than one date? Does it display the last one you checked, or does it somehow combine the two?

I didn't test it in 1.3.5, but I don't think it does anything that 1.3.5 can't handle.

Once the layers are in the LM they are regular WW image layers, you can have as many or as few on as you want. They will overlap though so I don't know how useful it would be to have more than one on at once.

Default Error loading in V1.3.5

It says the type or namespace Generic is not in System.Collections. Maybe .Net 1.1 didn't support Generic collections...

Hm. Maybe the listbox uses them. I'm not very happy with the listbox anyway, there may be another way to do that.
