ERDAS IMAGINE 8.7 'divided by zero'

Im having toruble with imagine 8.7. When im doing 4/3 band ratio. there was an error "divided by zero" or "invalid layer list" could you please help me? thank you!

But, to answer your question, in your model you need to add a conditional statement that will set the output value to 0 if the denominator equals 0:

EITHER 0 IF ( band3 == 0 ) OR band4/band3 OTHERWISE

Hi!
You have to use either if statement in model maker as the band 3 may have some zero values and thus creates the error.
"EITHER band4/band3 IF (band3 > 0) 0 OTHERWISE"

most likely this is the format of command just check in help of erdas.
