I have installed World Wind 1.3.2 When I zoom in the system CPU goes to 100 %. World Wind is using 99% of the CPU. I am running a nVidia Ti 6400 with 128 of video ram. Any help would be appreciated.

Think of it like a game - WW will use all the CPU power it can get.
Although when it's minimised or not being used, it pauses rendering to give back CPU power to other applications ![]()

sometimes I lower a bit the priority for the Wrold Wind Process: "below normal" insteat of "normal"
This makes the System much more fluid for other applicatyions but WW is still fluid too (using Duron800 running at 880 MHz, 352MB-SDRAM) |
