Ive been using Google Earth for a month or so now and just discovered World Wind today. Ive already found several places i was looking for but the resolution is very poor compared to Google Earth. Ive tried with a few different satellites from World Wind but still no luck. Do i need to turn something on or do something special to get good resolution, or does Google Earth just have better higher resolution imagery?
Thanks |

Generally, Google Earth has more areas of high resolution imagery than worldwind
especially outside of the United States. In an attempt to get more high resolution imagery for worldwind, forum members are trying to add data from free WMS servers. see http://forum.worldwindcentral.com/...showtopic=4464 The imagery from Germany using the one earth add-on is as good as anything Google Earth has to offer. |

As far as I know Google also has paid for the images.
World Wind not, so you can't get the same results. |
