I would like to test the installers for World Wind 1.3.2 Please post feedback if there is a problem with either the full install or the patch. Please note the full install is now only 50 mb because it does not include a copy of the Blue Marble data.

New install batch as of Aug 8th 2005 (4:23PM PST)
Please give these a try.

Randy, on the patch, you should remove all the add-ons that dont change, I believe the Landmark Catalog is the only one that changes. That should take the patch from 5.9 MB down to around 1 MB.

ok just tryed the patch, yep I agree with fourty it only needs landmarks to be included. There is one big problem though, it does not change the name of images.xml it needs to be renamed so it will appear at the top of layer manager, otherwise some add-ons will break.

Just tested the full install, it seems fine, except community add-ons are still in there.

Installs here with some error message, see screenshoots. I choose "no" at first message.

Then, the measurement "m" tool is not working.

Can't read the error boxes... but this will explain the measure tool:

I will try to translate the boxes:

first box: "Worls wind 1.3 is required. Do you want to download it now? -- After installation restart this program again"

second box: "World WInd will be installed now, but not all of requirements are satisfied"

Third box: "Installation was sucessful. Do you want to see the relase notes now?"

Regarding measure tool: It worked quite fine for me in 1.3.1.1. It is quite annoying that it has been removed. Even if it had some issues for some poeple, now it is completly impossible to know the size of objects found somwhere
How long until 1.3.3? A cuple of weeks, I would guess...

There is a plug-in measuring tool you can use in 1.3.2:
