after install, install dir empty

my system:
winxp prof sp2
dx9c
frame network 1.1
geforce 4 4800ti
xp 2500+
512mb ram
tested as admin

if i want to install all works fine, i use the original dir on c:.
while the installation ist something in dir.
but if i end the install:
The wizard is interruptted beforve ww1.2 completly installed. then i can press finish and my dir is empty. i downloaded the first version 4 weeks ago, yesterday i downloaded again. but the same error as before.
did u know what i can do?

It happened to me when I answered "No" to the two questions about installing .NET and Managed DirectX (I answered "No" because I've already installed DirectX 9c, and after SP2 I thought .NET was installed also)

Anyway, I followed this steps:

1 - Installed .NET in my language (brazilian portuguese)
2 - Installed Worldwind
3 - Answered YES to Managed DirectX

i press, it looks, you got newer version, it ends.
ww1.1 install doesn't work.
