any small application as wwj?

i tried wwj, which is really wonderful.

i would like to a small open source application, which can provide basic
operations, as visualization and query of DEM, imagery and vectors.

any one has suggestions?

make it clear:
my data is only cover small area with mercator projection.
I do not need a globe to show them. a small perspective view app as:

Hi insarmap,
you can get the source code and put into your program only those classes you need. These way the weight will be less.

In addition you can configure the "camera" to move around a fixed small area and zoom levels.
