1.2c: USGS Urban Area Ortho-Image Download broken

Hi,

after installing the pache i cant view USGS Color Images anymore.

After zooming into a new place i get the first level shown (its downloaded correctly from the server). But when trying to load the next detail level by zooming in I am getting the infamous 'Server are not available- please try again in 2 minutes' error.

I uninstalled 1.2c and reinstalled 1.2b and its working perfectly with the 1.2b version.

I was unaware of this problem, I'll be looking into it.

Yeah, I didn't do much testing for 1.2c because I needed to optimize the terrain cache for the the new cached landsat data sets I was trying to push out.

Hmm, I was able to zoom into 100m elevation fine for a while.. then it started saying "2 min error..." (ALL I was looking at was urban USGS, all the other layers were off)

I'll try again tonight.

Same problem here: after installing the 1.2c patch, I'm not able to display Urban area imagery other then level 1.

Ok, double checked tonight.

All I get past level 1 is white squares. Something in the 1.2c update snafued the ortho image download.

Hi,

i still got the problem with JIT debugging. s.d.

i am not able to see the area washington with USGS Urban Area Otho Imagery.
When i try to switch to animated Earth, i wont get a connection
and the world mapping server browser is going down with a failer discription as u see below.


System: W2K, SP4, Ram 384mb, HDD 20GB space, ATI 8500, PIII 2,5 Ghz

Could anybody help me?

I just tried 1.2c from home and the Urban Area imagery seems to work fine over DC. Is this still a problem?

yes... it doesn't zoom beyond the first level. And this for both color and b&w USGS Ortho-image.
Maybe it's a problem related to locale settings like the MODIS error? My XP is not english.
