Default Swing Components as Screen Annotations?

Does anyone know how hard it would be to render Swing components such as a JMenuBar on-top of worldwind like a screen annotation?

Where is the code for that? That is really nice, but I need to tweak it a little so that it will be a screen annotation instead of a globe annotation.

I found FengGUI which is a JOGL library that exposes functionality like swing does. It is missing some stuff but it works really well for creating Screen Annotations that look like swing.

Annotations can support child annotations and layout control to create more complex display. Have a look at examples.AnnotationControls and examples.util.DialogAnnotation, AudioPlayerAnnotation, ButtonAnnotation, ImageAnnotation and other such compounded annotation examples.

This is a rather new addition to annotations that we didn't put to work that much yet. You would have to create your own annotation 'components' though.

I went to this link http://theballoonproject.blogspot.co...ns-on-wwj.html and there was a link on this site for source code but it leads to a dead link. Does anyone know any other links or information about adding Swing Components to ScreenAnnotations?
