All,
I have looked for a solution for the black border that shows up around imported tile sets in WWJ, but without relief. I am using GlobalMapper 10 to create the tiles, but I can't find a setting to make the edges transparent instead of black. Is there an AVKey property I can use in AVList to help this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

Do a search in the WW java forums for "transparent"
There are several posts on this. I changed the code a while back that followed the code in WW .net and it worked OK. It was hard coded, no key to switch. I did this for the FAA Sectional Charts I tiled, when I get time I will update them. Changing it each time I updated to the latest code was a pain. Why the devs cannot include this is a good question. If it is a speed issue, I never noticed a difference on a single core notebook, a key could be set to go through that loop or not.
