Default mars,SDSS, servers

well i am asking again! does anyone have any new info on when the mars server and the SDSS server here in Nasa WorldWind will be back in action, back on line?

now i'm not asking about google earth or microsofts telescope or any other data interface. and i'm not trying to compare them.

i just want to use the one i like best for looking at mars and looking at the SDSS.

or maybe somebody in this forum knows who i should email to ask these questions.
it appears that those who control those servers do not read these forums.
and everybody here in the forums are very busy doing fine work on other things that have nothing to do with the sever problems of the mars and the SDSS portions of Nasa WorldWind

cheers
caio

Sorry no news on SDSS yet, Mars is awaiting tiling by root/Nowak he needs to complete writing some new code before he can do this though, I'm just as keen as you and hate waiting, if there was a way I could help I would.

ah still no SDSS or mars .
i am not a tech person so i can't help to fix these things, if i could i would.
i notice only 181 user have looked at this thread.
how many of you would be happier if the mars server, and the SDSS server worked even just a little?

i count myself as ...1...

Did you see my recent reply about SDSS? Seems they lost the data when the server died and need to rebuild it, they have bumped it up their list but no ETA yet

anything else new on the SDSS, or the mars server?
i notice that the SDSS no longer downloads blankorblack tiles, but just does nothing,
this i think is an improvement, and progress is being made.?

See my reply in the other thread, I don't want to hassle the SDSS guys too much, but I will try and get an update soon(TM), with Mars I'm not sure what to do next, I really have no linux server experience and very little tiling experience or I would do it myself.
