I successfully installed World Wind v1.3, however when I try running it, I get the following message:

Unable to locate a compatible graphics adapter. Make sure you are running the latest version of DirectX.

I am running

windows XP Professional
directX 9 c
.NET 1.1
my video card is nVidia Riva TNT2/TNT2 Pro (which appears to be supported)

What do you think is the problem?

However, try installing http://download.microsoft.com/download/6/3...4sdk_redist.exe .

Installing the managed directX did not help... I even rebooted my machine just in case.

so is nvidia riva tnt2/tnt2 Pro really supported at all?

Any other ideas?

Start->Run type dxdiag and run the tests.

All tests successful. Still the same problem with World Wind 1.3 though.

Thanks,

-Vinay
