Detecting when lines cross a sector..

Assuming you had a bunch of Tracks (polygon line segements criss crossing the earth and you identified a sector.

Are there any built in utilities to automatically determine which Which line segements cross(intersect) the sector.

You can try sector.computeBoundingSphere().intersect s(line) which is easy, but I have no idea about the underlying performance.
