Hi

I have just seen this program working at my place of work

So decided to download it at home,
It almost works, but I can's see any images when zoomed, all I see is the place names and the blurred earth,
I can zoom in and out and go to other places around the world but still no images,
The program finishes loading but still no images,

Could you suggest what I could do to resolve this, so I could see some images of places?

I'm using CPU AMD 2600+
512 mb RAM
200gb Hard Drive
Radeon 7500 with latest drivers from the ATI website
Direct x 9c
Windows xp Pro SP2
1 Mbps Internet connection

Would be grateful for any help.

- Are you running 1.3 version?
- Change your dataset (NLT landsat, landsat visible, landsat pseudo and three USGS layers on the toolbar)
- Change your location (USGS covers only USA, Lansat - whole Earth, but some areas aren't available yet)
- Hit Ctrl+H on your keyboard - do you see any errors?

You should also read faq and user's guide here

Hi

Cheers for the help,
I am running V1.3
Am using LAndsat7 (visible) marked at the top of the screen,
There are no errors on the Ctrl+H.
I've followed an example from the user guide where there should be a picture but I still get the green earth and no images apart from names,
Everything else is as it should be I think,
So am quickly running out of ideas

Try USGS 1-meter and zoom in somwhere inside the US. Does it do the same?

I've got the same problem too. USGS 1-meter does zoom in just fine.
But with all the Landsat sets it looks like WW gets lost: when I zoom in in 1 movement, only the big tiles are loaded and then nothing. I have to zoom out and then very slowly zoom in to get all the tiles loaded. Plus there are a lot of tiles loaded which are outside the viewing area ... even when the tiles in the viewing area are not yet complete.

Thumbs up

I am running version 1.3 on XP and I have the same problem but when I press crtl-H, I see the following message:

"The underlying connection was closed: Unable to connect to the remote server"

What should I do?
Is this a problem to go through a firewall? it this is the case what should I ask to my network admin?

What kind of firewall? Looks like WW is being blocked I think.
