Living in Australia, the first thing I do after starting WW is to reposition the screen to OZ. This is important in the classroom situation when you want the students to be at a certain place at startup.

I have already have a bookmark for the location I need but it would be great to have WW go direction to the selected location at startup.

Maybe a paramenter in "Earth.xml"?

Or when scripting comes available a set of scripts that will run at start up.

I did a search of the forum but could not see any msgs in this.

Create a shortcut to world wind and in the target field put something like this

WorldWind.exe worldwind://goto/world=Earth&lat=-21.66719&lon=135.40750&alt=12756273

hope that helps.
