Other than 'converting' a lat/lon to figure out the directory/name
of the associated jpeg/dds image tile, is there any way within WW to: - figure out the directory/name of the image tile - figure out the directory/name of the terrain file - force WW to attempt to download the image tile - force WW to attempt to download the terrain info A view centered at 50.21722N 123.26749W: [attachmentid=315] looks OK. As soon as I zoom in one more step, the tile that contains those coordinates becomes "flat": [attachmentid=316] Presumably either the server is missing the terrain info for that zoom level for that area, or there is a corrupt or missing terrain file in my cache. If I know the files names, I can investigate my cache. I know about CTRL+H, but I don't know how to force WW to redo the download for that tile, which might either correct the problem, or identify if it's a server issue. P.S. The area of the image is just to the west of "Alta Lake" (GeoNET Populated Place), which is located north of Vancouver, B.C., Canada

Hello dpatton,
there is a script, http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/forums/index...?showtopic=1166, which will delete all image tiles without Terrain Tiles, but I don't think that it work with World Wind 1.3. To figure out which tile look at Map Coordinates. If you deleted the tile, you have to go to this spot again to load the tile again, this time with terrain tile. I hope that I helped you. canosso

I was hoping there was some 'hidden functionality' in the current WW version that I wasn't aware of, but I guess not.

No, not yet. We have been discussing the idea of that. But it was not that high on the "ToDo" list for 1.3's release.
It is a problem, just need to work out the best way to deal with the problem is all.
