LARGE ERROR IN APPLICATION SETUP & CONNECTIONS!

I have twicely downloaded setup latest release 1.2e (large file 172 MB) from 2 different sources (URL).
Unfortunately both are buggy and never finished their installation (setup process always freeze by some xxx.dls writing error). I mention that I use latest .NET release (1.1) from Microsoft on my licensed XP PRO SP1,2, DirectX 90c etc.

Somehow application started but never connect any server to get details, so my images are only far from over 7.000 km above and NO scientific visualisation studio or other data could be retrieved or updated by the Net.

I already installed that proxy patch but without success regarding NASA WorldWind connection interface

I am connected to the Internet by proxy on port 80 with username and password, always retrievable from my Internet Options settings in operating system.
It seems that NASA prog simply ignore default Internet Explorer settings regarding real proxies (which always demand for a given port, username and password to go out from Intranet LANs)

So...I wait for a better reliable and consistent release !

The proxy patch is a proxy for the Landsat7 server, not proxy settings for WW. Sorry for that confusion

Proxy support is one of the big things on the list, and will be added soon. Try downloading the cache packs to see specific areas.

Also, what are the error messages on setup?

1.3 will have better support for proxies. That is why you are not getting data.

As for the other errors you go.. please, post the errors so we can figure out what may havehappened.
