Hi I just integrated WWJ with a small 2D java app that I used to predict satellite locations using two line elements. I have a screen shot and a windows download if anyone is interested.

No, most of it is probably my confusing interface and website :] The webstart is only for my older version (1.1) that doesn't have wwj -- only the windows packaged file under the 2.0 section has wwj. I will post a new webstart version once I get it working. Thanks for trying though!
For future reference, to get a satellite in the scenario using the webstart version you have to choose "Show Satellite Browser" from the Windows menu (then you will get a dialog saying no data was found on the local drive (since you are using the web start), hit yes to download the TLE data directly from the web), after that the Satellite Browser should appear and you can browse through the tree structure to find sats of interest then just drag them over to the "Satellite List" and their ground tracks will be added. |

Oh yeah, in the newer version to see the WWJ you have to open a new 3D window from the windows menu. It doesn't open one by default.

When I try to drag a satellite (ISS) to the Satellite List I get 'Error reading TLE' and the program stops responding (have to kill it from the Task Manager). This is with version 1.1 and 2 of the webstart.

Doh! Sorry it isn't working for you... I have tried it on a couple of windows and linux boxes and I haven't gotten that error. I will check into it.

Is anyone else having this problem? Or anyone able to run it successfully?

Haha... that was easy - regional settings
![]() Works fine with "." as a decimal separator, hangs with ",". |

Glad you got it working and that is good to know the cause! I will try to update the app so it will run with different regional settings.
