i need to make a video about the earth, the environment, etc. for an interschool competetion. can i use videos screen-captured from worldwind in my video? i'm ready to attribute the imagery to NASA and other owners of the satellite images in the beginning of the video, eg. Yes, you can. WW uses public domain data (exception: ZoomIt! layer see http://www.worldwindcentral.com/wiki...rom_World_Wind)
Credit would be nice, but it's not required. |

Guys, this is fantastic
When I was 13 I was excited for my brand new C64 with a pixel count of 320x200 and eight 16x16 "sprites" that could be animated thanks to the hardware (with some tricks you could get 24 of them ). Now teenagers can create 3D movies of the earth for a school competition! That's great! PS I know, it's a trivial thinking, but I couldn't prevent myself for screaming it. ![]() PS2 I know, I know, this also means that I'm getting older ![]() PS3 anant77, good luck for your competition!

thanks for your help guys!
this is one of the reasons why world wind score over google earth. google doesn't allow use of its imagery. btw fabrizio, this isn't my first project or anything like that, i already have 2 websites (1 partially incomplete) and i have created addons or modifications for many games too.Last edited by anant77; 09-03-2007 at 06:27 PM. |

When I was 13 I typed up the Periodic Table of Elements. I've since improved it making it the most up-to-date, accurate, and has th most information of any other version I've seen. Haven't touched it for a while though, so it may be missing some stuff. Now I write programs for my calculator to examine an error in one of the algorithms.
Tom, that True3D environment sounds interesting, is it Vista compatible? (That's purely a joke. I know I need a life, but it isn't that bad.)
