A idea to inject any image in the wwj cache

I'd like to build a little free software to inject any image which extent is known in the wwj cache. It involves the coding work such as the scaling, merging of images. I will expose it including its source as early as possible.

and i expect some friends can provide the source of handling WMS and other functions used in wwj. For this can our wwj develop more quickly and catch up with ww.net soon. Now wwj lack of rendering the main formats of gis file and standard wms layer which make me feel it like a fly in the ointment.
