Hi
If I haven't missed anything there is no map import function for NWW and there is no dedicated map import program for NWW. Incredibly many people are trying to import their maps into the their virtual globes caches but people are discouraged by the difficulty and the unavailability of inexpensive or open source software to do it. What's the reason there's no such map importer? Does it not make sense, does no one need it or did just no one have the time to do it? I'm aware that it is difficult and that the number of formats is daunting. Speaking for myself, I'm trying to use as many of my topographic and satellite maps in various formats, projections and datums into NWW, that I currently use with TTQV, for overland travel navigation. |
