Default Wilderness/Human Impact

This add-on combines high resolution (2-5 km) datasets released by three organizations covering the same general topic with different approaches.

Global Forest Watch compares the area covered by forest ~8,000 years ago and the remaining fraction. It also identifies intact, undisturbed regions of woodland.

Columbia University's Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center, in conjunction with the Wildlife Conservation Society, has mapped the human influence on the Earth’s land areas. It identifies remaining wild areas, categorized by biome.

University of California, Santa Barbara's National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis has analyzed a variety of marine parameters to obtain a global assessment of human impact on the world's oceans.

Very nice pangloss, just one issue I'm having, the keys are hard to read on my screen. (Though I should grant you that my laptop screen is set at 1680x1050 which will play a large role.)

Great add-on again pangloss!
I'll have to look into porting some of your contributions to World Wind Java

Good idea Pat, if you get any of his add-ons tiles hosted on the WWJ WMS server let us know

How about just making WWJava read WWXML instead? :P

If you have the internal browser turned off and you click the scale bars, they will open larger versions in your default image viewer or application (in my case IrfanView).

Tools > Options > UI > UseInternalBrowser=False

Unfortunately, WW 1.4.0 does not understand local links (e.g. images, html, etc.), so it just gives an error if the internal browser is on. This was supposedly fixed in the next version.

Wouldn't it be simpler to fix WWJ so that it understands the .NET structure, rather than rebuilding the hundreds of existing datasets?
