i've installed wordlwind 1.3.3.1, but when i'm trying to turn it on i've got this error message: Application has generated an exception that could not be handled
process id=0xdb4 (3508), Thread id=0x308 (776).
click OK to terminate the application
click cancel to debug the application

and in any cases it isn't running! i've tried to reinstall it, but it didn't get better

WW installer should have Managed DirectX, not sure about .Net...
also you can try changing color depth 32<->16 bits

uhh... wrong
you have directx, but not managed directx
ww requires manged directx (october '05 version) and .net 1.1
install both and try again
