Hi people!

First... Devs, great work on making a program like this available to the public! It's really awesome!

My question is for anyone in here really. I've zoomed in on Hanoi, Vietnam and I see that the max. resolution is the 15m landsat7 images, which is ok. However, I'd like to see Hanoi in much greater detail (in world wind or simply as normal jpeg's)! If anyone knows where I can get high resolution - preferably aerial - photographs of Hanoi and suburbs I would appreciate it a lot if you would point me in the right direction... mind you, I have done extensive searches without result.

thank you

David

We have yet to locate much open domain high res imagery of the rest of the globe. We are looking.. but most governments either want you to pay for it.. or they went through an imaging company and that company owns the rights to the data.

Bit of a picked.. data "wants" to be free.. but people also want a "profit" :\

Thank you for your reply, which I agree is true... I kinda had the feeling that it wasn't available, but I felt I might as well ask the community who knows the most about terrain data.

thx again!
