Default CLAMP_TO_GROUND Surface analytic doesn't show up properly

When running AnalyticSurfaceDemo.java, the flat surface set to CLAMP_TO_GROUND doesn't show up properly. I show only a part of the surface. When I zoom in or out, it shows different parts of the surface.

It is the same when I try to make my own surfaces. Other altitude modes work fine.

Does anyone know how to display the surface correctly ?

Autar,

We're unable to reproduce this issue on any of our systems. See the screen shot below for an example of how a CLAMP_TO_GROUND AnalyticSurface normally appears.

This could be an issue with the implementation of OpenGL on your system. Would you please the make, model, and driver version of your system's graphics card?

Thanks,
Dave

Honestly I don't know what's happenning ... It now works for my application but the AnalyticSurfaceDemo still shows the same behavior.

I am running on :
- Dell Optiplex 780
- OS : Scientific Linux (Release 6.2 Carbon, Kernel Linux 2.6.32-220.12.1.el6.x86_64, GNOME 2.28.2)
- Proc : Chipset Intel® Q45 Express with ICH10DO
- GC : Intel 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500), supports OpenGL 2.0

I'm not sure if this is enough, I'm quite new to the Unix world and I still don't know my way around.

Autar,

We need to determine if your system has the most recent drivers for your graphics card. Would you please investigate what your current graphics driver version is, and whether Intel has published a more recent driver?

Thanks,
Dave

Thanks for following up. The driver you are using is from Q3 2011. Please navigate to the following site to download and install latest version:

Thanks,
Dave
