Looks good under windoze, I particularly like the bookmarks feature, you need to grab the latest landmarks file from CVS though, I made a few fixes

Thank you

Linux users! I need your feedback, please try to compile and run it because I think there may be more problems with Linux version than with Windows.

Also it will be great if any of MacOS developers reading this will try compile WW2D too.

You can use DialogBlocks app http://www.anthemion.co.uk/dialogblocks/ which available for Win/Linux/Mac; project file for it is in CVS.

Hello. I just found this, downloaded it -- the binary, I mean -- and installed it.

I have a problem when launching it: it says
"ww2d: error while loading shared libraries: libwx_baseu-2.5.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

... which is one problem. But, I have looked and libwx_baseu-2.5.so.3 is most certainly there, happily existing in /usr/lib where it ought to be.

How can I help fix this? Is ww2d looking for the .so in the wrong location? If so, how can I find out where it is looking?

Thanks and I can't wait to get it running,
N
PS - I'm on ubuntu if that makes any difference

binaries for Linux are very experimental.. I'm working on this now..
if you can, compile WW2D from sources.. (or maybe it's good time to learn how to compile apps in Linux if you never tried this)

Well, I'll be happy to try that, but I thought that a report on what happened with the binary would be useful also.

As far as compilation goes, you say that it requires libcurl development packages; here on Ubuntu we have libcurl2-dev and libcurl3-dev packages to choose from: of course I can install both, but if only one of them is actually needed, could you tell me which?

I don't mean that to sound like I'm confused, just wanting specifics in case others are confused.

Thanks,
N
