Installed 1.3 today, and thought it was failing to get any map data. Then I noticed it gets data fine, but only *outside* the SF Bay Area! USGS 1m Ortho and Topo, and LandSat Pseudo layers show detail; the Urban Area and two Landsat Visible layers have nothing between about 36N to 38N lat, and 124W to 122W lon. These were OK in 1.2.
Any ideas? I get no error messages of any kind. Other than this, 1.3 is performing nicely for me. -- Andy |

Try this, do a ctrl-h in WW, that will open a traffic log window.
Then look at those areas again with the layers that didn't show data and see what the message is. Either 404 or ok.

In the layers that return nothing, there are no download requests logged at all. When I switch to one of the layers that works, all requests are OK. I've never seen an error show up in the progress monitor.

I'm not sure what caused the problem, but the missing data suspiciously looks like it covered the area of data I had cached in my existing 1.2e installation. I thought 1.3 would not try to use the previous version's cache, but maybe it tried and had problems as a result. -- Andy |
