Default Using the new WW version with a Wiki.

I was about to launch myself into development with 1.1 for the SpaceDataWiki project, when I was reminded of the new 1.4 version.

I was going to write a plugin that allows that adding of comment markers that can show/edit a Wiki page and link through to that page.

Will 1.4 include this functionality as part of it's KML development ?

The kml bubbles can show html, but I am not sure how complex the html can be. The web browser panel should be able to show/edit wiki pages though.

Thankyou withak,

So can I see this in the current development release ? Or is this a confirmed but upcoming feature ?

The functionality sounds great. HTML in the KML markers, and then editing could take place in the browser window, as you say.

Wonderful! No need for me to learn .Net / C# coding, or even Java by the sound of it

You can download from the SVN. Check http://www.worldwindcentral.com for information on that.

I think it is in the latest code. I remember there being some kind of problem where it couldn't accurately detect whether to show something as html or regular text in the popup bubble, but it think that got fixed.

edit: I think the description had to be wrapped in <html> tags for it to know to render the html, otherwise it would treat it as plain text. I'm not sure if that is still the case or not.
