Thread: US Maritime Limits add-on

  1. #1

    Default

    The information for the US Maritime Limits World Wind add-on was generated from the official ESRI shapefiles available from the two sites below:

    NOAA Maritime Boundaries
    NOAA EEZs

    [attachmentid=789]

    [update}
    I've updated this to version 0.93.

    Updated to include US maritime limits for:
    Louisiana
    Mississippi
    California
    Oregon
    Washington
    Texas

    This new version utilizes a screen overlay legend, so World Wind 1.35 is required.

    Here's the link:

    The maritime boundaries are not complete for the entire territory - that's why it is version 0.85. I'll keep checking and will update the add-on when other regions become available.
    Download the Add-On

    Updated the file to include new additions by NOAA: Florida and Alabama.

    If anybody has any other maritime limits, let me know. I've got the limits for Australia and it would be nice to get more compiled for WW.

    MangoCrate, the version 0.85 does not seem to work for me. v0.8 is ok. When I say it does not work. No lines at all are displayed even after waiting 5 minutes.

    I notice that is file size of the new version is much smaller also and in the xml file and folder names are different. Is v0.85 a direct replacement of v0.80?
