Hello,
We are participating in the Earthkam activity in which we can request pictures of the earth surface taken from the International Space Station. In order to send the request we need to be able to upload data of future tracks and positions. Does anyone know of a plugin that will show future tracks in order to zoom in and determine diferent photo opportunities. The track needs to show day in one color and night in another in order to look for coordinates that are only visible during day hours. Here is an example of the groundtracks provided by Earthkam-

Any ideas?

Try WXtrack (http://www.david-taylor.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/software/wxtrack.htm).

Or the World Wind Inbuilt Satellite Tracker. Hey we may make image overlays with those shots.

The satellite tracker plugin can't project future locations yet though.

What do you mean by "future locations"? I don't understand what are you talking about.

It only shows you the orbit and the location of the satellites based on your system clock. There currently isn't any way to use it to tell where a satellite will be at some time other than now. It's certainly possible, just not implemented.

Set your PC clock ahead 12 hours.. sheesh ;)

That would probably work. It could also probably be hooked up to the time controller.
