Need High Resolution Images

I downloaded world wind 1.2, and used it, but i really didn't get what i wished for. if you go to this link Here (http://worldwind.phonecampix.net/pic_view.php?id=33&mode=full) you will see a very clear sky image for Microsoft HQ.
my question was does anyone know where i can get high resolution images for american and international cities like the one before?

Open up the Layer Manger, under images you'll find USGS urban. Turn this on and the others off.

Be aware that USGS only covers a few cities. Most of the US is covered in white squares.
