Since I'm new not only to the site but also to the whole satellite image searching stuff and I stumbled onto this site because I downloaded the free Keyhole 2 Pro trial version for fun and was looking for coordinates of certian areas, Anyway.
I was wondering what programs everyone here uses to search. My free trial is almost up with Keyhole and I just dont have the heart to give them 400 dollars per year and I dont get any software or anything, just a lic. key.
Also is there any free programs out there that people can access or even software that is more affordable.
What are you searching for? If I want to find something, I'll usually type in google followed by "Latitude Longitude."

I ment what kind of Satellite Imaging Program does everyone use. I've been useing the Keyhole program and I was just inquiring as to what everyone else uses. The only two programs I know of out there are the google and the Keyhole programs. I'm shure there is more.
The reason I'm asking is because my free 7 day trail with Keyhole is almost up and it costs 400 dollars to buy it. I was looking for a more affordable Sat. program or even a free one, if such a thing exists. I know the Google one is free but after useing Keyhole I really dont like google's.

We are using a program called World Wind and its FREE! here is a link for download
http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/index.html
Well, most people around here use World Wind. ;) It's free, growing quickly, has helful volunteers, has an add-on interface (did I mention it's free, not only in price but as in freedom?) so that others can easily expand on it, oh, and it's free. That's $400 less a year (or infinity times less) than keyhole, and right on par with Google Maps. Google maps has better imagery, you say? Bummer.

Well apparantly my system does not meet the requirerments needed to run Worldwind. Damn ,and I have a pretty good system too. The system requirerments must be quite high for WW. Oh well I guess I will have to find a different Sat. Imaging system to use.

Thanks for the link, I have a Radeon 9200 card so my video should be more than what I need.
I have over 2 gigs of memory so that cant be the problem.
What else could be wrong?
Yep, it will most probably be a video card problem. You may have outdated drivers or you are using some integrated graphics card. Most computer retail companies dont show that nowadays, and just market the "3.6Ghz with HT technology, 2GB RAM and 500GB HDD to navigate the internet and check your email easily and safely" sort of image.

Radeon 9200 is fine, I use one.
That error is normally DirectX kicking up a fuss, try downloading from the link in my sig and see how that goes.

What's the error message you're getting, could you screenshot it?
Also do you have .NET (link in sig) and the latest drivers for the 9200?

So besides downloading Dir. X 9.0 what else do I need?
Also, Where do I save the Dir. X at.
It does not save to a pre-desinged destination. Or does it not matter.

You need Microsoft .NET too... (take a look at my sig :)
You just download installer to any location you want - run it and it will know where to install all the files ;)
