View Full Version : cannot install 1.3.1 patch

It freezes extracting the world Wind Dings 1.04.ttf.... 100%.
The task remains open, without requesting CPU resources.

Last week, in same PC it succeded. In the meantime I unistalled World wind and reinstalled again.

I had the same issue with this patch - freezes AFTER font install (The font is installed to Windows\Fonts. It looks like whatever the next task in the install package is the culprit. I did give it 20 min or so before killing the patch process. Anyone have a clue?

Its probably something in the Registry, as it worked fine. I guess the uninstall of Worls Wind did not do a good job, and ledt something wrong in the Registry

make sure you have dotnetfx installed and directx 9c - these solved it for me
