Legend Layer?

Has anyone looked into having a legend layer or something like that?

Thanks Pat I will take a look at it. Because of the nature of layers I am thinking it almost has to be a layer that aggregates all the layers or at least of course the visible layers that have info.

I am considering adding a new important wms where I think I need a legend to understand all the layers related for it I am going to add. I already have added the wms link to my web service that the user can add to the view.
