My laptop would run WW for a few minutes before crashing (i.e., shutting down). Used some compressed clean air to blow out all fan vents, and the laptop no longer crashes (nor does the fan run as often).
I'm using "Dust Off," but there are several canned air suppliers in the U.S. and are available at computer and electronics stores like Radio Shack.
