problem with set up

Trying to start, after set up, the program says:

unable to locate a compatible graphics adapter. make sure you are running the latest version of directx. -2146232832 (unknown)

However,my computer is rather up-to-date ! Here are my Spec :

Interesting. The GF4 MX series are listed on the Wiki as being compatible, so it should work.

Could you try installing the .NET 1.1 Framework, and DirectX 9.0c? They should be installed...but a re-install won't hurt:
