Hello everyone!

So, first post, first problem :D
I can't find any method to have 1m precise pictures of other countries than America. Can someone help me?

That's because that is ALL there is. Yes, there is the imagery for other countries.. but due to political reasons, red tape reasons, licensing reasons, being bas***ds reasons.. we don't have that data available to display inside of World Wind.
That doesn't mean we are not looking though. If we find sources, they eventually will be added.

DAMNED!
It's a sad news :(
But anyway, the present pictures are not so bad! :)

TomServo do you think that in the future we will have 1m data for other countries also? Because that will be more than great :)

As Tom said, if we find the sources, we'll put them in :)

Start bugging your governments :) (Presuming you have taxes..) If your taxes paid to get it done.. you should be able to get the imagery. (In a perfect world)

I don't understand : we are talking about *NASA*! Not fbi, nsa or cia!
As i know, NASA is a research organism! So why does this problem exist? :(

NASA can only use the imagery made available to it.
The USGS 1m imagery is from a government organisation (USGS) and is free for public use. Other countries don't have any government-sponsered 1m imagery, it's private companies who want money for their imagery.
Hey, discovered World Wind not long ago and really like it.
Is there any chance to get really precise pictures from Germany? I don't even know if maybe DLR own some, do you have any contacts wich focus on looking for pictures like in the USA?

And if you find some sources to get 1m data from other countries, is it legal to add it into World Wind? I mean, unofficial sources... :)

if the images are in the public domain, they can be used. Don't go 100% on my guess though :)

BTW, for Germany look at "http://www.ausderluft.de", there are AFAIK some precisious Pictures. Is it possible to ad them to WW? (Couldn't load the pictures on the Website..)

Well, that site is trying to make money by selling the pictures. How likely do you think they are to give them away for free then?
