View Full Version : Stars instead of black?

Great program, i'm really loving it so far, there's only one thing i'd like to see changed in the next version/update, namely replacing the black background behind Earth with some kind of stars texture.
I don't necesarily mean for it to be any kind of super accurate or realtime updated thing, but a rough approximation of some of the main constellations mapped onto a larger sphere around the earth would really help set a nice ambience when zoomed out.

We actually have plans to import a "Military-Grade" star map. It's probably overkill, but we like it that way. B)

Yeah I'd vote for overkill. Lets just make sure that they've got a few southern hemisphere stars in there ;)
